The SWL-1550 is specifically designed for FBG fiber sensor interrogation applications. The SWL-1550 contains a fast tunable laser source with control electronics. Driven by an electrical ramp voltage input, the SWL-1550 is a laser source that provides fast continuous wavelength sweeping. The SWL can come in either a rackmountable version or a module for OEM integration.
Depending on the user’s needs, the SWL can come in three models:
• SWL-1550W: Wide sweeping wavelength range of 90 nm that can monitor a larger number of FBG sensing.
• SWL-1550H: High output power of up to 300 mW, ideal for increasing the sensing distance and number of channels.
• SWL-1550S: Standard model that combines an output power of 20 mW and wavelength range of 70 nm to provide a cost-efficient solution.
